EX CANADIAN POLICE KILLED IN PLAYA DEL CARMEN

CANCÚN, Q. Roo.- La turista surcoreana M.H., de 26 años de edad, alrededor de las 15 horas estaba corriendo en la ciclopista que se localiza a la altura del kilómetro 21 del bulevar Kukulcán, cuando fue atacada por un sujeto, quien la sometió con un cuchillo y abusó de ella.

 

Después de los hechos, se emitió una alerta general a todas las unidades policíacas para ubicar y detener al presunto responsable.

Los primeros informes policíacos señalaron que la turista que tenía un par de días de haber llegado a este destino turístico, en plan de pasar unas vacaciones, salió sola de su hotel para realizar un poco de ejercicio. 

La joven surcoreana se fue con dirección a donde está el hotel Westin Resort, ubicado en el kilómetro 20 de dicho bulevar; pasó el centro de hospedaje e ingresó a una zona donde hay manglar y poca vigilancia policíaca. 

La extranjera avanzó un kilómetro más, cuando se encontró de frente a un sujeto, al parecer de aspecto albañil, éste sacó de entre sus ropas un cuchillo. 

El sujeto la amagó y la introdujo en el manglar, donde la sometió a golpes para que dejara de gritar y después abusó de ella y luego se dio a la fuga. 

La mujer como pudo logró salir del manglar y pedir ayuda a la Policía. Pero cuando accionaron los elementos policíacos ya no lograron ubicar al presunto responsable. 

La mujer fue asegurada por personal de la Procuraduría General de Justicia del Estado (PGJE) y trasladada al Ministerio Público del Fuero Común (MPFC) para que interpusiera formal denuncia.(Fuente/ Sipse)

DESDE HACE UNA SEMANA NO APARECE EN   CANCÚN UNA TURISTA HOLANESA

 

Un turista de nacionalidad holandesa está desaparecido desde hace una semana; la última vez que sus familiares supieron de él se encontraba en Cancún, tras haber estado en Isla Mujeres. 

Raúl Joaquín Pedro Santiago, de 26 años, nacido en Curazao y de nacionalidad holandesa, llegó a Cancún el 19 de enero pasado. 

“Vino aquí a hacer un estudio de la cultura, de la región de los mayas”, dijo su padre, quien acudió a la sede de la Subprocuraduría General de Justicia del estado para denunciar la desaparición. El Ministerio Público inició el acta circunstanciada 657/2013. 

Pedro Santiago llegó primero a Cancún y luego se trasladó a la Riviera Maya, donde se ubican sitios emblemáticos de esa cultura como las zonas arqueólogas de Tulum y Cobá. 

De acuerdo con el padre del desaparecido, éste había manifestado a través de su cuenta de Facebook que su situación era deplorable porque se le acabó el dinero. 

La última vez que supieron de él fue el viernes 3 de mayo y quedaron de verse en el aeropuerto internacional de Cancún. 

Tras su estancia en la Riviera Maya, Pedro Santiago se fue a Isla Mujeres y el fin de semana retornó a Cancún.

TOURISTS BY FIRE EVICTED HOTEL FIESTA AMERICANA

  

CANCUN, QUINTANA ROO. - About 600 tourists and employees were evacuated from the Fiesta Americana Condesa Cancun, after it caught fire large palapa intense flames causing a dense cloud of smoke, leaving three workers intoxicated.

DESALOJAN A TURISTAS POR INCENDIO HOTEL FIESTA AMERICANA

 

 

CANCÚN, QUINTANA ROO.- Alrededor de 600 turistas y empleados fueron evacuados del hotel Fiesta Americana Condesa de Cancún, luego de que se incendiara una palapa de grandes dimensiones provocando intensas llamas una densa nube de humo, que dejó tres trabajadores intoxicados.

Los hechos ocurrieron poco antes de las tres de la tarde de hoy, cuando las corporaciones policíacas y de emergencia recibieron el reporte de un incendio que se inició en la parte superior de la palapa, ubicada en el área conocida como auditorio o teatro, cerca del área de la recepción del hotel.

Elementos del heroico cuerpo de bomberos utilizaron más de ocho pipas, particulares, de agua, que fueron llevadas desde el centro de la ciudad, para combatir las llamas que por momentos amenazaban con extenderse a la palapa principal en la entrada del hotel.

El titular de la Dirección de Bomberos de Cancún, Vicente Moreno, comentó que se quemaron unos mil 200 metros cuadrados de material conocido como “guano”, además de 90 metros de largo de un pasillo con techo de palapa.

Dijo que aún se desconocen las causas que originaron el incendio.

Los bomberos tardaron varias horas en extinguir completamente el incendio, y permanecieron en el lugar unas tres horas, una vez que todo estaba bajo control.

La conflagración causó la curiosidad y el nerviosismo entre los turistas y los empleados que fueron evacuados. Algunos turistas señalaron que el incendio ocurrió muy rápido y se extendió con velocidad; sin embargo, no hubo víctimas. (Fuente: NoticaribeNews)

LA FRAGILIDAD de la Subdelegación del Instituto Nacional de Migración en Chetumal quedó demostrada de nueva cuenta, pues anoche cuatro antillanos que se encontraban recluidos en el lugar se fugaron “en las narices” de los guardias de seguridad privada, por fortuna la rápida intervención de las autoridades estatales permitió la captura de dos de ellos, quienes se encontraban escondidos en los alrededores del Cereso de Chetumal.

La fuga se registró alrededor de las 20:00 horas de ayer, cuando cuatro antillanos aparentemente se amotinaron, y aprovechando que los guardias que se encontraban en ese sitio estaban “distraídos”, saltaron la barda trasera apoyados de una soga que fabricaron con sábanas.

Tras percatarse de la fuga, los guardias de seguridad privada pidieron ayuda al número de emergencias 066, por lo que de manera casi inmediata elementos de la Policía Estatal y Municipal Preventiva (PMP) desplegaron un operativo en el sitio con la finalidad de dar con el paradero de los fugitivos.

Luego de varios minutos los elementos policiacos lograron detener a dos de ellos, quienes se encontraban escondidos en las cercanías del Campo de Futbol López Portillo, por lo que fueron trasladados de nueva cuenta a las instalaciones del INM.

El operativo continúa en las inmediaciones del Centro de Reinserción Social (Cereso) de Chetumal y la colonia Santa Isabel; sin embargo, hasta el cierre de esta nota no habían podido dar con el paradero de los otros dos antillanos.

Ayer por la mañana, cuatro de ellos habían sido trasladados por elementos de la Policía Federal a la ciudad de México, desde donde serían repatriados al concluir con ese trámite; sin embargo, después del traslado, la seguridad se relajó aparentemente, lo que propició la fuga.

Es importante señalar que Diario Respuesta publicó en días pasados que ya en dos ocasiones en menos de 15 días, los antillanos que se encontraban en la Subdelegación del INM se habían intentado amotinar argumentando diferentes cuestiones, una de ellas que la comida, consistente en un sándwich y agua de jamáica, era insuficiente, pero además exigían que se les proporcionaran alimentos cubanos.

Es la segunda fuga que se registra en lo que va del año, sin que hasta el momento las autoridades de ese instituto tomen cartas en el asunto.

De última hora la SSP informó que los cubanos recapturados son Yusbel Hernández Méndez y Juan Espinoza, de 39 años de edad. (Fuente: Periódico la Respuesta)
