The beach pollution can also come from activities in large urban centers that do not have sufficient coverage of clean , sewage and wastewater treatment .
In coastal areas it is possible the presence of this problem during the high influx of tourists , and that urban services are exceeded and the excess water reaches the sea, the beaches or coastal lagoons, sanitary conditions affecting them.
Activities within a watershed upstream may also eventually lead to the pollution of beaches . Even seemingly unrelated tasks , such as washing the car on the street with no use biodegradable detergents or building materials such as plaster or cement diluted , can have effects on a beach pollution .
A sampling reveals which are the most polluted beaches in Mexico , this study aims to warn vacationers prepare to visit these destinations in the upcoming holidays

COFEPRIS released the list of the most polluted beaches in the country . This list is based on a study by the Department of Media Environment and Natural Resources ( SEMARNAT ) and the Secretariat of Health ( SSA).

BEACHES MOST CONTAMINATED

The study measures the level of enterococci per 100 milliliters there in the sea water, the bacteria poses a risk to health. For this report, 269 public beaches where we sought to ascertain the level of presence of this bacteria were analyzed .
The study reported that 99.6 % of Mexican beaches will have a world-class quality , this means that you can visit without any problems and pose no health risk.
However the beach " The Principal " located in Guerrero, does not comply with the rule by which they were installed signs in which visitors are drawn to the sea state, as it contained a figure of 399 in 100 milliliters of water ( MPN/100 ml ) when the guidelines of the World health Organization only allow a maximum of 100.
According to this study , Guerrero is the state with the most polluted beaches , while Campeche has the cleanest in Mexico .

Sampling also discloses that beaches as " Boatmen " This year is among the most polluted reduced their pollution level as in 2009 recorded 238 enterococci per 100 milliliters while this year only has 66 ......Upsss ! Source : The Reason
