SHOULD REFRAIN FROM TALKING ABOUT ELECTION ISSUES
The Electoral Tribunal alludes to the contents of May 9 and 11 where it calls to vote for the banners of Morena; gives you 24 hours to remove the video and audio materials of that propaganda
Considering that there was bias in his statements where the fairness of electoral competition is affected, the Electoral Tribunal of the Federal Judiciary (TEPJF) ordered President Andrés Manuel López Obrador this Friday to refrain from making more statements of an electoral nature and to avoid use official communication spaces such as their morning conferences and take advantage of the functions of their position to make political-electoral propaganda in favor of the Morena candidates.
By a majority of five votes, the Superior Chamber of the TEPJF gave its endorsement to the project of magistrate Janine Otálora Malassis, who stressed that the decision presented has the objective of preventing irreparable damage to the equity of electoral contests and guaranteeing that political power does not is used against or in favor of a certain political force or candidacy.
