GANG OF EXTORTIONISTS ARRESTED IN PLAYA DEL CARMEN.

PLAYA DEL CARMEN, MX.-A band of people who were involved in extorting money from businessmen in Playa del Carmen, was dismantled following a complaint by one of the victims and thanks to members of the Judicial Police mounted an operation, by which managed to arrest in flagrante six people, among them the active agent of the Federal Ministerial Police, destacamentado in Playa del Carmen, Melo Miguel Angel Gutierrez, a 34-year-old native of Mexico City.

Around 6 am yesterday, seven people came to the place of the victim, on board four vehicles entering the business six of them, and one which proved to be the agent of the Federal Police, stood outside a Jetta board a vehicle type, which dropped the band leader, Luis Alfredo Aparicio Lara, alias "the Coke". The arrested were identified as Rogelio Gómez Aguilar, 40 years old from Amatlán de los Reyes, Veracruz; Hector Lara Adrian Vicentín, 22, of Cordova, Verazcruz; Luis Alfredo Aparicio Lara, alias "coke", 43-year-old from Cordova, Veracruz; brother of the late "Willy"; Luis Angel Hernandez Velez, aka "Pinocchio, 32, originally from Cordoba, Veracruz; Jose de Jesus Pineda Aparicio, aka "Tato 18 years of age"; Manuel Baena Ricardo Zarate, alias "Manuel", 28-year-old native of Mexico City, and who has been "very event mentioned in derivatives theme organized crime," said the attorney; Melo and Miguel Angel Gutierrez, a 34-year-old native of Mexico City, asset Ministerial Federal Police agent destacamentado in Playa del Carmen.
