THE 29-year-old WOMAN allegedly sent messages to her mother in Turkey via WhatsApp, but at the diplomatic headquarters she has not shown up to work since July 2
The Attorney General's Office of Mexico City opened an investigation into the disappearance of a diplomat from the Turkish Embassy in Mexico.
Without making public the name or photograph, the Office of the Prosecutor indicated that it is a young woman of 29 years, of Turkish nationality, and occupies the position of second secretary.
There is no information on the embassy's website that provides more details about the missing woman.
According to representatives of the embassy, on July 2 the woman did not show up for work and through an email informed that they did not feel well and would attend the doctor, an argument that she used until July 16.
The next day, staff from the embassy went to look for her at her home, but when they did not find her, they left her a message to inform her of her state of health.
There was no reply until a week later when they received an email without text.
According to the complaint, the missing woman has had contact with her mother in Turkey through WhatsApp, however, no further details about the messages were given.
In the next few hours its search form will be issued by the agencies to follow up on the cases of missing persons.
