Users of social networks often do not forgive the setbacks of public figures and, on this occasion, the target of their criticism was Josefa González Blanco Ortiz Mena, the woman whom Andrés Manuel López Obrador profiles as head of the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources (SEMARNAT).



Blanco Ortiz Mena, whom AMLO proposes for the dependency, is the daughter of PRI member Patrocinio González Blanco Garrido, former governor of Chiapas and Secretary of the Interior with Carlos Salinas de Gortari before and after the Zapatista uprising.

How did the controversy begin?

The video shows that part of the decoration of the place are two carved elephant tusks, a detail that social network users disseminated and used to send messages against the future head of SEMARNAT.

The official at the beginning mentioned that she had collected the pieces near where the hyenas live, although later she changed her version.
