According to the versions of the witnesses themselves, the assassins, after making several bursts apparently with long weapons, fled and continued firing, while traveling in vehicles and motorcycles, without specifying the type, since when starting to listen to the first detonations, people began to get behind the parked vehicles, others returned to the beach and many others entered the hotel parking lot, some immediately began to call the 911 emergency number reporting a shooting in the vicinity .

Minutes later the Red Code was activated, as witnesses claimed that inside the premises there were several people injured as well as others who had already lost their lives and were inside the building, as in the beach area, so authorities of the Three levels of government went to the area, where in the midst of chaos, among people trying to get out to get to their homes, patrols that circled, as the presumed ones were said to be still nearby, and headed towards the ferry dock, the emergency corps tried to enter to care for the injured, of whom there were three, two of them fishermen and a ministerial agent, who were assessed and transferred to different hospitals by Red Cross ambulances and a private one.

After the injured were transferred, the municipal police began to cordon off the area, as there were more than 100 cased percussions inside and outside the place, as well as several meters above the busy avenue, since according to witnesses the armed commando He shot while fleeing, since apparently it was to cause fear among the witnesses and thus no one could see where they were traveling.

For more than three hours people who inhabit the place had to retire to later enter their homes, as well as tourists, who had events in nearby hotels were diverted by the same authorities that prevented them from passing, as criminal experts processed the area.

After midnight, the five bodies that remained in the place were transferred to the Forensic Medical Service, aboard the two ambulances of the Forensic Medical Service (SEMEFO), as well as the caps and at least two vehicles in which presumably the victims, who were transferred to a corralón of this city.
