CANADIAN TOURIST DIE

CAE CANADIAN TOURIST FROM THIRD FLOOR OF DOWNTOWN HOTEL IN COZUMEL





Cozumel.- From the third floor inside a hotel in the city center, Casa Mexicana, a Canadian tourist it crashed to crash into the restaurant floor during early Thursday.
The tourist was identified with the name James Steward Charuk name, originally from Ontario, Canada.

The man was found motionless fractures in different parts of the body. His wife, Joan Katherine Gallagher, 58, according to sources from the Attorney General of the State, did not realize this until it was notified by the staff.

Almost at midday Thursday it was learned that the injured had died from the severity of his injuries. It transpired that the deceased ingested prescription antidepressants, so that suicide is not ruled out.
The incident occurred around 4:30 am on Thursday in a hosting center located at the Rafael E. Melgar Avenue and 7th Street, owned by the family of Joseph Becerra Ruiz.

A call to the hotline 066 requested the help of paramedics to attend a foreign later identified as Jared J., originally from Ontario, Canada.

Paramedics a private clinic who came to the site gave him first aid and took him to their facilities where he was reported serious. Hours later transpired that tourists, about 54 years old, had died.

Prosecutors went to the hospital to attest to the death. His body was taken to the facilities of the Medical Examiner for an autopsy of law.
