ITALIAN INVESTMENT TAX INVESTIGATE 'RUBY'

* IN PLAYA DEL CARMEN WITH MONEY OF BRIBERY OF SILVIO BERLUSCONI

ROME, Italy.- Italian prosecutors are preparing a request for judicial assistance to Mexico, where the Moroccan Karima El Marhoug, alias "Ruby" would estate acquired alleged bribes paid by former Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi.

According to the newspaper La Stampa, "Ruby" owns two apartment buildings for rent, a restaurant and a pasta soup in the Mexican resort of Playa del Carmen, in the state of Quintana Roo.

That would be part of the "treasure" accumulated by women through payments that would have made Berlusconi in return for their "silence".

Some local media reported that the expremier would have rewarded "generously" to Moroccan not to testify for the prosecution in the trial in which he was accused of prostitution by a minor, (for having sex with her when she was underage) and concussion .

On Tuesday the chief prosecutor of Milan, Edmondo Brutti Liberati said the police raided the homes of several women who in the past participated in the festivities called "bunga bunga" (orgies) Berlusconi.

The media stated that they were registered addresses of at least 20 girls, including Moroccan, in the context of open inquiry into alleged bribes paid by former Cavaliere her friends.

He was also flunked the home of attorney Karima, Luca Giuliante, in a case in which 45 people (including Berlusconi) are being investigated for alleged "corruption in judicial acts" for lying in the "Ruby process."

In July the Court of Appeal of Milan acquitted former premier of allegations of prostitution by a minor, arguing that although kept sex with Moroccan past, did not know that was a minor.

Also declared "nonexistent" the crime of extortion (abuse of power) which had been accused former Cavaliere because in May 2010, when he was prime minister, called police to ask Milan to release "Ruby" which He had been arrested for theft.

In a first trial the former premier was sentenced to seven years' imprisonment and perpetual disqualification; Now prosecutors are preparing to challenge before the Supreme Court's acquittal of the Court of Appeals.

As if that were not enough for former Cavaliere, the prosecution is gathering evidence to open a new trial, called "Ruby ter" for bribing witnesses to the first process.

Therefore, he said La Stampa, judges are preparing a request for judicial assistance to Mexico to meet with Moroccan what money would have bought properties there.

The hypothesis is that Berlusconi continues still paying the girl, wearing a fancy way of life incompatible with their declared income to the Treasury.
