TWO ARRESTED IN COLOMBIAN AIRPORT CANCUN WITH COCAINE


CANCUN, MX.- With almost a kilogram of cocaine were arrested two passengers from Colombia at the International Airport of Cancun Tuesday night, when they passed through the customs area when arriving on a flight from Panama, so they were available to the Attorney General's Office (PGR).

Unofficially, yesterday announced the seizure of approximately 720 grams of powder cocaine in Cancun International Airport.

According to information obtained, the seizure took place around 21:00 pm last Tuesday when he arrived on a flight Copa Airlines, from Panama.

After passing through the area of ​​migration, flying passengers passed through the area referred to Customs, where they had to wait for review.

Two of the passengers were noted nervously, so underwent a complete overhaul.

The passengers were identified as Johan Sebastian Ordonez Monroy, 19-year-old native of Ibague, Colombia and Helmut Salamanca Jonathan Mendez, 27-year-old native Isnos, Colombia.

To be reviewed in his person, it was detected that brought hidden in his shoes, without specifying how, a white powder with the characteristics of cocaine.

Customs staff gave notice to the Attorney General's Office (PGR) and were chemical experts who applied to the corresponding reactive substance found in the shoes of the passengers, giving positive to cocaine hydrochloride.

The approximate weight of the narcotic was 720 grams, so that both passengers were available to a Federal Public Ministry, and later they were taken to the offices of the State Delegation of the Attorney General's Office (PGR), for crimes health in the form of introduction of narcotics into the country.
