BOB MARLEY SON'S NIGHT CENTER CLOSED IN PUERTO MORELOS




The Puerto Morelos City Council's Inspection Directorate closed the Romarley nightclub and two consumption centers at The Fives Oceanfront hotel in Puerto Morelos, for failing to follow sanitary measures 




PtoMorelos QRoo.-  The Fiscalization Department of the Puerto Morelos City Council closed the Romarley nightclub. owned by the son of reggae legend Bob Marley, and two consumption centers of the hotel The Fives Oceanfront, for failing to comply with the sanitary provisions issued by the authorities,

The Fives Oceanfront hotel opened its doors this week and planned several activities, including a party that was organized with more than 200 guests and where the protocol established by the authorities to avoid further COVID-19 infections was not applied.




Reason why the authorities proceeded to apply the relevant sanction, closing the two consumption centers of the hotel, and the Romarley night center, in addition to the closure it is presumed that economic sanctions will also be applied, although the amount of this is unknown.

According to the director of Fiscalization, the hotel managers informed the city council that during its opening week only tours would be made with the media and in small groups of six people in order to comply with sanitary measures.




Quintana Roo is located at the orange traffic light in the northern part of the state and in the southern zone in red, given the constant increase in COVID-19 cases in the state.

Only in Puerto Morelos there are currently 21 positive cases and six deaths, in addition to eight recovered, however, in Quintana Roo the total number of cases is 7 thousand 20.
