Playa del Carmen. - An Italian tourist, Rita Fquieiri identified as 28-year-old was bitten on a finger of his left hand when he was taking the picture with a capuchin monkey that its owners call "Lolo", in the fifth Avenue in this city
This happened a few hours the PROFEPA seized in the same place, a lot of cats that were exploited for photographs with tourists.
The incident occurred at one of the points presented exotic wildlife for tourism to take pictures, this one in particular at the level of Coco Bongo, Quintana Avenue in this city.
The Italian, who was accompanied by her husband, suddenly at the time he was taking the picture with him animal bit her.
After the attack the monkey and despite concerns of Tourist, animal exploiters told him that the incident was not important and was not given any help.
The woman drove away and later sought the help of the Tourist Police patrolling the area.
Along with the police and a municipal inspection inspector refused to identify, the tourist said Monkey owners, but both authorities downplayed the incident, while the municipal official accepted as valid documents that were submitted by operators to use the animal for pictures.

CAPUCHINO ALIAS LOLO MUERDE A TURISTA
Playa del Carmen.- Una turista italiana,
identificada como Rita Fquieiri, de 28 años de edad, fue mordida en un dedo de
la mano izquierda cuando se estaba tomando la foto con un mono capuchino al que
sus propietarios llaman “Lolo”, en la Quinta Avenida de esta ciudad
Esto ocurrió a
unas cuantas horas que la PROFEPA decomisó en ese mismo lugar, un lote de
felinos que eran explotados para tomarse fotografías con los turistas.
Los hechos ocurrieron en uno de los puntos en los
que se presenta fauna exótica para que el turismo se tome fotografías, éste en
particular a la altura del Coco Bongo, en la Quintana Avenida de esta ciudad.
La italiana, quien estaba acompañada de su esposo, súbitamente
en el momento en que se estaba tomando la foto con él animal, la mordió.
Tras el ataque del mono y pese a la preocupación de
la Turista, los explotadores del animal le dijeron que el incidente no tenía
importancia y no le prestaron ningún tipo de ayuda.
La mujer se alejó del lugar y más adelante solicitó
la ayuda a la Policía Turística que patrullaba la zona.
Junto con los policías y con una inspectora de
fiscalización municipal que rehusó identificarse, la turista señaló a los
propietarios del mono, pero ambas autoridades minimizaron el incidente, al
tiempo que la funcionaria municipal aceptó como válidos los documentos que le
fueron presentados por los explotadores para usar al animal para fotografías.
La turista italiana dijo estar preocupada por la
mordida y sus consecuencias ya que ninguna autoridad la auxilio
